real PE at home learning resources

We are a real legacy school for real PE and they have developed a home learning package, so that the children can continue the adventure at home.

real PE at home includes an online programme to support children and support families to be active, play and learn together. It includes a programme specifically for children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 with 12 themes, 6 areas, over 250 activities and challenges and 1000s of hours of fun and activity. This programme is also great for family play and fun.

There are so many benefits to being active, not only to our physical wellbeing but also to our emotional and mental health, especially in such testing times for all of us. We hope that the ideas help support you and family to stay fit and healthy.

  Cosmic Kids Yoga and Mindfulness 

We all know how much you love yoga at Stanford!

Free online videos that can be watched and followed at home bt children, grown-ups an families alike.

Access themed yoga lessons, mindfulness activities and relaxation sessions from the comfort of your home.

  Go Noodle 

Anyone can access these free online videos that encourage everyone to be active and have fun! We know you will have your favourites – so share these with your home grown-ups!

There are movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts.

  BBC Super Movers

The BBC Super Movers website contains a host of free online videos and fun curriculum linked resources to get children moving while they learn.

The videos feature a plethora of professional sportsmen and women as well as celebrities to engage children even further.

PE with Joe

Joe Wicks is doing daily workouts at 9am!

  Succeedin PE 

Succedin PE and the PE Suite are offering families PE, physical activity games and sports ideas.

Change 4 Life 

The NHS Change 4 Life website has a host of videos, activities and resources for children and their families to use.

The resources encourage physical activity, healthy eating and even includes healthy dinner recipes.

  The Body Coach 

Joe Wicks, The Body Coach, has produced a number of short, fun , workout videos especially for children.

The videos are available on The Body Coach YouTube TV channel.

Daily 10 Minutes Shake Up are 10-minute activities based on Disney films that count towards a child’s 60 active minutes per day.
  Boogie Beebies  has videos that get younger children up and dancing with CBeebies presenters.

Premier League Stars has a huge catalogue of resources using football as the tool to motivate, not just about being active but also linking activity with Maths, English and PSHE.


Andy’s Wild Workouts are 10 minute fun interactive workouts with CBeebies Andy going underwater, through the jungle, pretending to be various different animals.


The Youth Sport Trust have brought together a selection of active home learning cards for parents/carers to download.


Jump Start Johnny has a huge array of fun fitness videos for primary aged children. Included are relaxation and mindfulness activities.


LTA – Tennis at Home have a series of videos for the family to take part in various tennis based activities. You will need some tennis equipment for some of these.


The Daily Mile Team bring you the Daily Mile at Home for you to take part in as a family.
